For this project I wanted to encapsulate the swirling anxiety present in the show Dark.

I experimented with the timbres of the instruments and where they would fit in the soundscape, carefully sculpting their placement in the stereo image. I used a granular synthesis plugin to manipulate the space and texture of the sounds I was working with. I also pulled a handful of samples from the BBC Sound Library into Spear for spectral re-synthesis to manipulate the movements into the sound I wanted. Then I brought all these sounds back into Protools and worked on Echo, Reverb, and mixing.
